Senior Information-Technology Officials’ Views on MOOCs and Instructional Technology, 2012

The officials generally did not believe that massive open online courses held much promise as a revenue source, but they were more impressed with MOOCs as an academic model. They also expected e-books, mobile apps, and lecture capture (recordings of classroom activities for later review) to play a strong instructional role on their campuses.
